Occasionally, a villager that is in boxes will not arrive and will essentially have been lost. This glitch may occur when a villager from a friend's island moves into the player's island. This is easily fixed if the other player moves in the seat, or leaves it. When someone is visiting, and they call the Rescue Service while they're sitting, after they've finished the call with Resetti, the other player will see them holding nothing afterward. This glitch can be fixed by having another player invite the villager stuck moving out to their island. If a villager is in moving out boxes and another villager is forced to go into moving out boxes the same day using the campsite, one of the villagers moving out can get stuck in the moving out phase forever. This works for both male and female players. If playing with another player, when one player is changing their appearance using a mirror or vanity, and the other player walks into the room while they are doing so, their shirt may disappear and leave a black or dark gray band on their chest, usually referred to as being a censor bar. The same thing can happen with event items such as maple leaves, snowflakes, or cherry blossoms. When visiting a friend's island or when a friend is visiting the player’s island, there is a chance that all critters will stop spawning after some time passes. Their mouths will return to normal after exiting a building. Repeated conversations will turn them around and begin a standard conversation, though the villager will lack any significant mouth animations. Occasionally after a player has entered or left an island through online communication, a villager may be looking at the sky commenting on the airplane's departure. They don't move unless pushed far enough from their stuck point, and it's likely due to the game thinking that they are sitting and listening to the performance. is performing during Saturdays, Sundays, a player's birthday, or any day after a major event (Bunny Day, Fishing Tourney, etc). Villagers walking in or near the plaza may end up staying still for hours on end if K.K. Interestingly it doesn't seem to happen when a player is in a building, but when they re-enter the outdoors, the glitch continues. Players wearing a kimono may experience a glitch where the kimono is in the same position as it would be when wearing a bag, with a blue X lining the back. The player can still play with the player’s friend locally, however. This shows the two islands were not on the same version anymore. At the airport, no island will be found after an online search, even by Dodo code. Then, it becomes impossible to play online with the last player anymore, because the game considers that the first island linked with their Nintendo account is the good one. It cannot be fixed by re-adding them later, because the old island will pop up automatically (it is saved forever). The only “solution” is to remove the player from the Nintendo Switch friend list, but if the player does so, all the “copies” will be removed, even the last one (the one you want). All the islands and characters have the same name. This means in the player’s in-game friend list an infinite amount of copies of their island, without being able to delete anyone by one. But if the player’s friend decides to delete their game data and start over, their old name will be forever saved in the player’s in-game friend list, whether the player added them to the player’s best friends or not. When the player visits a friend’s island or if a friend comes to the player’s island, they will automatically be added to the player’s in-game friend list. 2.5 Unable to relocate house after deleting a player glitchĬurrent glitches In-game friend list.2.3 Tom Nook refusing to invite more villagers glitch.1.31 Island Designer Path Dust Cloud Bug.1.29 Flick and lazy villager Animalese Bug.1.28 Redeem Nook Miles, Nook Miles+ Bug.1.27 Villagers singing communication error bug.1.26 Coconut juice having incorrect labeling.1.25 Villagers reactions when fishing glitch.1.24 Villager animation stuttering glitch. ![]()
